A small firm by design.
Between them, the firm’s practitioners bring over 100 years of combined experience across capital markets, industrial supply, contracting, trade and assurance. That experience is offered as judgement, not as headcount.
We are engaged at the point where a position is still flexible and the cost of being wrong is highest: before an investment committee, before an award, before a signature, before an auditor’s arrival. The work is deliberately narrow. We take on a small number of engagements at a time so that the senior practitioner who scoped the engagement is the one who delivers it.
Our clients are investors, developers, manufacturers, suppliers, commodity traders and public bodies operating in jurisdictions where the commercial case, the contractual position and the audit trail must all hold at once.
Operating principles
Integrity
We act in our client’s interests in every engagement. Consultancy fees are agreed in writing with the client before any introduction.
Discretion
Engagements are conducted privately. Counterparties are approached only with consent, and nothing about a client position is discussed outside the engagement.
Evidence
Every conclusion is traceable to a source. If a number cannot be supported, it is presented as an assumption — clearly, and in writing.

- Delivering the agreed scope and deliverables
- Coordinating counterparties, advisers and diligence workstreams
- Reporting progress against the agreed timetable
- Escalating commercial risk as soon as it is identified
- Maintaining the written record of every decision
The client is responsible for
- Providing complete and timely information
- Nominating a single decision-maker for approvals
- Granting access to premises, records and counterparties
- Confirming instructions in writing
- Meeting agreed fees and expense commitments
Terms
Fees agreed before the work begins.
Consultancy services are provided on a one-time or annual basis, with a consultancy fee on every transaction between the client and each buyer onboarded by T&F, agreed in writing before work begins.
At cost, pre-approved, and itemised in the engagement record.
All timings are indicative until confirmed in writing in the engagement agreement.
Each engagement begins with a Letter of Appointment and is governed by the T&F Consultancy Agreement.
